Quick Setup Guide

Prerequisites:

  • Ensure Dynamic Checkout Buttons are enabled in your Shopify Payments: Shopify Admin > Settings > Payments > Dynamic checkout buttons.

Installation:

Once installed from the Shopify App Store, the "FCS Buy Now Button Generator" is available as an App Block in your theme editor.

Configuration Steps:

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin, then navigate to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Find your active theme and click Customize.
  3. In the theme editor, use the top page selector to choose Products > Default product (or your specific product template).
  4. In the left sidebar (page structure), click the section containing your product form (e.g., "Product information").
  5. Scroll down within that section's settings and click Add block.
  6. Select "FCS Buy Now Button Generator" from the list.
  7. Drag the new block to your preferred position (we suggest below "Add to cart").
  8. Click Save. Your new button is live! Dynamic checkouts and "More payment options" will be hidden.

Button Customization:

Tailor the button's look and feel:

  1. In the theme editor, click the "FCS Buy Now Button Generator" block in the left sidebar.
  2. Adjust settings in the right sidebar:
    • Button label: Set your desired text (e.g., "Instant Purchase", "Quick Buy").
    • Button background color: Choose a custom background.
    • Button text color: Select a custom color.
    • Button border color: Define a custom border.
  3. Default Styling Note: If no custom colors are set, the button will aim to match your theme's "Add to cart" button style for consistency.
  4. Click Save to apply.
